Neighborhood accountability boards (NABs) give the community a voice when harm is committed in Topeka. Both the offender and those who have been harmed share their stories and work toward resolution wo that juvenile offenders may rejoin the community as productive citizens.

The Process:
- Juvenile is referred to TCPJ
- State Approved Mediator and Trained Neighborhood
Volunteer - Meet with the juvenile.
- Harm caused by the Juvenile to the community is highlighted.
- The Juvenile takes responsibility for their actions.
- Juvenile and NAB work together to form an agreement
that repairs harm.
