Topeka Center for Peace and Justice, Inc. is the hub for Restorative Justice and Mediation in NE Kansas. Our mission is to promote justice and peace through education and action for social change by working with individuals and organizations in Topeka. We work in a variety of areas using restorative
practices that strengthen community trust and security. Our partnerships include the Shawnee County Community Corrections and DA for Juvenile victim/offender dialogue and Parent/Adolescent Mediation, Family Peace Initiative as a wraparound to support juveniles and families, non-profit organizations, and area schools where we bring restorative practices to educators and students. Topeka Center for Peace and Justice has been the center for mediation since 1985.
Description:
We are seeking a competent and organized Office Manager to oversee and manage our daily office operations. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office and contributing to a productive and positive work environment for our employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
General

Proven experience as an Office Manager or relevant role.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular), QuickBooks, MailChimp, and social media
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
High School diploma; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
Ability to work at least 35 hours per week
Benefits:
The position has an allowance for health insurance, employee contribution to 401K with an employer match, paid holidays, and vacation. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
General
- Coordinating and overseeing administrative duties in an office environment
- Greeting visitors
- Managing office supplies
- Oversight and onboarding of administrative staff
- Administration of office budget
- Scheduling meetings
- Ability to perform account receivables and payables and work with the bookkeeper to ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports are provided promptly
- Work in collaboration with others to develop new programs that meet
- Develop strategies that can be used to collect and track data and to
organizations on a timely schedule.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written to donors, volunteers, community leaders, and the community.
- The ability to maintain and update our social media presence
