Library
The CENTER's library is now officially "open for business!" Our collection features more than 400 titles in various subjects, including religion/pacifism, alternatives to war, hunger and environment, world regions, foreign policy, biographies, literature, nonprofit organizing, civil rights, U.S. politics/economics, children's literature, and educational curriculum materials on peacemaking for children, all of which are available for signing out.
We also have some back issues of selected periodicals, including Dollars and Sense, Liberty Press, Kettering Review, NAACP's The Crisis, the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Report and Teaching Tolerance, and other publications. In addition, we have a limited collection of videos that deal mostly with hate groups and a few about the SOA Watch organization.
Most of our books were donated and the CENTER welcomes additional donations to the library.
